These are, foremost, songs I enjoy the most of all the music I have heard in my lifetime. It is also a playlist that, if I still had use of my old iTunes, I would have made by now. I love each of these tracks to death - in other words, they will be defended with zeal. These are superior examples of songcraft - at the very least they are simply stellar tracks either on construction or execution - and easily as good as anything their respective eras have produced.
